We spent the afternoon driving near Plano, Illinois, visiting the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farnsworth_House, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1951. The home is a National Historic Landmark, and is on the National Landmark of Historic Places. It is available for tours through the preservation group, Landmark Illinois.
